About Jersey
Jersey is 45 square miles and is the largest of the British Channel Islands. The Island is located 85 miles south of mainland Britain and 14 miles from the coast of France.
The Island is an international finance centre with a vibrant funds industry. Net asset value of funds under administration reached record levels in March 2007 approaching £200 billion.
In 2005 Jersey was voted as the jurisdiction of choice for offshore private equity and property funds, according to a survey carried out by Legal Week magazine.
Jersey is easily accessible from most major UK airports including Heathrow airport.
Regulatory
In Jersey Aztec Group is regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission under the Collective Investment Funds (Jersey) Law 1988 and under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998.
These laws (and their subordinate enactments) impose Codes of Practice by which we conduct our business relationships, and include minimum capital adequacy and professional indemnity insurance obligations.
