October 2009 - Aztec Group strengthens its team with Tax Specialist
Victor Clarendon has recently joined the Aztec Group as Head of Tax. This new role has been established to further strengthen Aztec Group's specialist service offering to the funds industry.
Victor has worked as a tax professional for 25 years. Before joining Aztec, he worked for a number of professional accounting firms in London, most recently as a Tax Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he spent 12 years. He has advised a variety of listed and unlisted UK based and multinational groups, joint ventures, partnerships and funds primarily engaged in real estate transactions.
Edward Moore, Aztec Group’s co-founder and CEO, said. “In an industry where taxation and regulation are becoming increasingly prominent, we felt it was a natural step to provide specialist support to our clients in this area. Victor has a wealth of tax experience across a variety of structures and will be a real asset to the Group.”
At Aztec, Victor will manage taxation services, working with clients and their professional advisers to ensure funds are correctly set up, maintained and restructured to meet the ever changing requirements of investors and tax authorities.
Victor commented, “I am very excited about developing the Group’s taxation services and supporting its existing business. Without doubt the Aztec Group is one of the most focused fund administrators in the market place with a proactive approach to clients’ needs. Victor is based in the London office.
