Kim joins the Group to lead the Business Improvement team to effectively manage the Aztec Group’s strategic projects and project related resources. Kim has worked in funds, trust, compliance and project management within both the financial services industry and commercial trading industry. Kim has broad experience in systems implementation and office setups, from the due diligence stage through to complex implementation, across multiple jurisdictions.
Brought up in Jersey, Kim naturally fell into the island’s thriving finance industry, starting off in trust and company administration. Subsequently, gaining experience across compliance, fund administration and trust and estate management, Kim attained an in-depth understanding of the industry before becoming project focused. Whilst working in client due diligence, Kim was presented with the opportunity to project manage an acquisition and a number of business integrations. This experience provided Kim with hands-on expertise in systems implementation and allowed her to discover her natural project management traits.
Most recently, whilst living in Perth, Australia, Kim was dedicated to developing operational efficiencies to drive business results within the commercial trading sector, “Managing change is a real passion of mine, especially where it leads to innovation and brings teams closer together”. With the Group continuously focusing on innovative solutions that meet and surpass clients’ requirements, Kim will work collaboratively with our client and support teams to analyse current business processes, identifying opportunities to increase operational effectiveness and quality of service.
Kim’s return to Jersey was driven by the opportunity to join the Aztec Group as the Head of Business Improvement. Excited to get back into the financial services industry and after hearing about the Group’s impressive growth, Kim knew that a role with such scope was the perfect next step for her, “As Aztec continues to grow at an impressive rate, I will be implementing strategies to drive forward service enhancements, bringing everyone together to ensure we continue to build consistent, high services across the Group. My predominant focus will be ensuring that the Business Improvement Team has the resources required to support client facing teams to continue to deliver the first-rate service the Group is so well renowned for.”
Kim holds a diploma in Advanced Business Management and is registered as a Prince2 Practitioner and a Change Management Practitioner (APMG).
