A strategic thinker and creative marketer, Tania has worked for various organisations in the financial services, not for profit, telecommunications, IT and manufacturing sectors. It was during this time that Tania learned crucial lessons which shape the delivery of our various marketing and communications initiatives.
With the Aztec Group once being known as the Channel Island’s best kept secret in the industry, the challenge was to successfully communicate the Group’s services to the wider European audience. The company looked to bring its alternative approach to service delivery into a striking brand presence which embodied the way the business works and its strong culture, with the Group now standing out from the crowd in a world of grey fund administration.
Having worked closely alongside senior management in building the Aztec Group’s brand over the years, Tania reminisces about the journey of earning our alternative reputation “We were excited by the challenge of bringing our service offering to the market, at a time when barely anyone had heard of us outside the Channel Islands. We knew our clients’ business inside out and we knew how to best accommodate their needs. Considering our role in the “food chain”, we also knew it would be difficult to gain brand recognition in a new market despite our word of mouth client recommendations. We chose to be innovative and perhaps a little bit daring in our marketing approach. Branded promotional mouse mats would have never done it for us. Instead, over the years we encouraged people to ‘Try a New Flavour in Fund and Corporate Services’ through a variety of different direct marketing initiatives.”

Tania is a CIM qualified marketer with over 20 years’ experience and she also holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham.
