James has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, beginning his career as a management trainee at Barclays Bank after completing a degree in history at Bristol University. Following a succession of corporate banking roles and becoming ACIB qualified, James was a relationship and business development manager in East Anglia for 8 years. In 2005 he moved to Guernsey to take up a role specialising in funds and financial institutions before joining the Aztec Group in February 2008. James heads up the London office and coordinates the Group's business development strategy through its Guernsey, Jersey, London and Luxembourg offices.
