September 2006 - Aztec Guernsey appoints further Non Executive Director
Following the opening of its new office in Guernsey recently, specialist fund administrator, Aztec Financial Services (Guernsey) Limited, (part of the Aztec Group) today announced the appointment of Ms Susan Lloyd as a Non Executive Director.
Established in 2001, with offices in Jersey and Guernsey, the Aztec Group is now widely regarded as one of the Channel Islands' leading independent fund administration houses with in excess of US$6 billion of committed capital under administration.
Susan Lloyd, who has been resident in Guernsey since March 1999, has spent the past 24 years working in the private equity industry, initially as a provider of information and data on the industry, then as Director of Investor Relations for Schroder Ventures and most recently as an independent placement agent for private equity funds.
Commenting on the appointment, Edward Moore, the Aztec Group's co-founder and managing director, said:
"Susan has an almost unparalleled breadth and depth of experience in this rapidly evolving industry. Susan brings a wealth of experience which will be invaluable in assisting the ongoing strategic development of the Guernsey office and Group as a whole."
Commenting on her appointment, Susan Lloyd, said:
"I have worked with the Aztec Group in Jersey for the past 2 years in my capacity as a non-executive director of a number of the funds and management companies that they administer. I have the highest regard for their professionalism and integrity and l look forward to extending this relationship through my non-executive directorship of their Guernsey company."
