Financial Reporting Manager – Technical - Aztec Jersey
The purpose of this position is to support the client facing teams with their day to day accounting queries/updates and be the subject matter expert on relevant laws and regulations.
+ Act as the first point of contact for technical queries raised by the accounting teams
+ Review the quarterly/annual financial statements prepared by the accounting teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency and completeness of the amounts and disclosures
+ Review quarterly/annual financial statements as a part of cold review process to ensure the adherence of standard procedures and processes in financial reporting
+ Be vigilant on accounting updates (standards, guidelines etc.), analyse the impact on current client structures and communicate with the accounting teams
+ Act as the first point of contact for FATCA/CRS, BEPS, Dodd Frank and AIFMD queries raised by the client facing teams
+ Attend client meetings as the subject matter expert on FATCA/CRS, BEPS, Dodd Frank and AIFMD
+ Manage and perform periodic FATCA/CRS and AIFMD reporting for the Group
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
+ 2 – 4 years post qualification experience ideally with Big 4 supported by a relevant professional qualification (ACCA or ACA)
+ Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy)
+ Computer literacy, word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential
