Mark Wanless, our Head of Real Assets, is set to join the upcoming BVCA Alternative Lending Forum as an expert panellist.
The BVCA Alternative Fund Strategies Series, will explore some of the ways in which private equity is diversifying as it matures, developing new approaches and investment products as it looks for opportunities in a wider range of markets.
Kicking off at 8:30AM, the half-day forum will feature top speakers from a wide range of backgrounds and professions to deliver a comprehensive overview on the most urgent issues impacting the new areas of investment strategy. Mark’s session will focus on establishing ‘what effect alternative lending is having on private equity deal flow in the UK’s mid-market?’ He will join a panel of experts including, Nick Fenn, from Beechbrook Capital, Jakob Lindquist, of Cordet Capital Partners LLP and Fred Nada, from BlueBay. The panel session will be moderated by Jersey Finance’s Business Development Director, William McGilivray.
The Alternative Lending Forum is the first event in the BVCA’s Alternative Funds Strategies Series and will take place at The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts in London on Thursday 30 March. For more information please visit the BVCA website.
