Charlotte Light nominated for Computer Weekly’s 2021 Most Influential Women in UK Tech

Charlotte Light, Chief Technology Officer at the Aztec Group, has been named in Computer Weekly’s longlist of women nominated for its list of the top ‘50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech’.

For the past 10 years Computer Weekly has been showcasing women in technology, and now celebrates 50 of the UK’s most influential women in the UK tech industry every year.

Charlotte joined the Group in 2020 after spending four years as Chief Information Officer at Channel 4. In her role at the Aztec Group, she drives the continued development of the IT team and leads its technology transformation agenda.

Charlotte has a breadth and depth of experience having led technology teams in multiple industries including media, retail and supply chain and from working directly in the technology sector.

Commenting on her nomination, Charlotte said: “It’s a great honour to be listed alongside my peers in technology in the UK. Aztec Group is currently at a pivotal stage in its technology journey, with rapid growth and an ambitious strategy for the next five years. We see technology transformation and innovation as key to our continuing success and achieving our ambitions, in an industry which we know will undergo significant disruption over the coming years.”

A panel of judges will choose the final list of 50 women, which will be announced at Computer Weekly’s annual diversity in tech event in September.
