COVID-19: Aztec Group Update

The Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic represents a significant challenge for all, with our industry being no exception. We appreciate this is a testing time for everyone.

As CEO and founder of the Aztec Group, I wanted to take the opportunity to reassure our clients and their advisors that we are taking all the necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and provide the best possible service to our clients under the circumstances.

Update: 10 June 2020

When the COVID-19 crisis took hold across our operational jurisdictions earlier this year, we took several key steps and measures. These included:

  • Proactive response management: Chaired by our COO and working closely with our Executive Committee, we assembled an incident response management team to steer the Group through this challenging period, ensuring the Group’s continued operational resilience and ability to serve our clients;
  • Containment measures: Several measures were put in place to minimise the risk of infection among our employees and visitors to Aztec premises. We have also continued to ensure that our business and employees strictly adhere to all government measures applicable in the jurisdictions in which we operate; and
  • Activation of our business continuity plan: Our robust business continuity plan has enabled us to mitigate the impact of office closures or other developments that may have affected our ability to serve clients in a normal way.

These measures continue to be in place and our response teams continue to meet regularly, ensuring the safety of our employees and their ability to service our clients.

We continue to closely monitor government guidance in our operational jurisdictions. While we are carefully planning for the return of our employees to our offices, this will only happen when it is practical and safe to do so, and when government guidance allows. We are also actively engaging with our teams to ensure that everyone can continue working in a setting that allows them to feel safe and productive.

We remain as committed as ever to supporting our clients and their advisors through this challenging period in any way we can.

As always, please feel free to speak to me directly or your usual contact at the Group if you have any questions.
