To celebrate our tenth anniversary in Luxembourg, we have arranged a series of initiatives and events to mark a decade in the Grand Duchy! The Heart of Rugby Festival is a little different, however. It is a community event, which is open to the public, and aims to raise much-needed funds for local Luxembourg charity Kick Cancer into Touch. The charity supports organisations who care for people fighting the disease and researchers who are exploring new treatments.
Taking place from 10:00 on Saturday, 25 August, at Stade Boy Konen, the festival will bring together, for the first time, the annual ‘Kick Cancer into Touch’ charity corporate touch tournament, featuring teams from local businesses and the International Rugby 10s tournament. The international 10s will see teams travel from all over Europe to compete against each other.
At the festival, there will be a range of family-friendly entertainment in addition to the rugby matches for children and adults to enjoy. There will also be food and drink served throughout the day to make sure no one goes hungry!
