Background and experience
Denisa joined the Aztec Group Luxembourg office in 2016 , bringing over 15 years of international experience in the financial industry on both the business and Human Resources side.
Before joining the Group, Denisa worked in the financial sector in Luxembourg and Tokyo, focusing on Asia Pacific, Europe and on US related roles in global financial companies, adding to her experience in managing multicultural teams.
Her passion for Human Resources came early in her career, when she realised that people are any company’s biggest asset. She quickly assessed that the Human Resources field is a multi-disciplinary area, stemming from the employee’s engagement and motivation to deliver and perform, and that this forms the base and foundation of a successful business strategy to deliver exceptional growth.
As a Human Resources leader, Denisa sees corporate culture as a key factor for success. She continues to maintain and implement an inclusive culture that every employee can relate to, connecting their professional aspirations and skills to make an impact, with a clear roadmap in their career, professional development and growth.
Her background includes experience in Human Resources/People agenda items including: HR Strategy, HR Business Partnership, Employee Relations and Legal Employment Law related matters, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, HR Policies, Organizational Design, Job and Design Evolution, Corporate Culture, Diversity and Inclusion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies.
- MBA level studies in Leadership and Strategy/Human Resources/Employment Law/Project Management.
Outside the Office
Denisa studied and started her career in Tokyo, Japan, having spent a large part of her life and career Tokyo. She speaks English, German, Japanese, French, and most currently started Luxembourgish, and has a good understanding of Spanish and Italian.
She spends her free time with her husband and two children in Luxembourg, and visiting their families in Switzerland and Belgium. She enjoys also dinners with friends, experiencing multi-national cuisines.
She is an avid traveler, and often travels to other European locations, Asia and the US and is passionate of Japanese culture and calligraphy.
