Background and experience
Joining the Group in 2017, Franziska had previously practised for more than six years in Luxembourg as a corporate lawyer, working for two of the largest law firms in the world. During this time, she assisted in various worldwide real estate transactions and cross-border private equity deals.
Franziska’s first role after passing her state examination was as a trainee for the Higher Regional Court of Saarland in Germany (Oberlandesgericht des Saarlandes), where she worked for two years before accepting her first position in corporate law in Luxembourg.
- European Master of Laws from the University of Exeter.
- French diploma (licence du droit) from the Université de la Sarre.
- Admitted to the German bar (after 2nd German State Examination).
- Formerly admitted to the Luxembourg bar (deregistered to accept an in-house position).
Outside of the office
Franziska enjoys meeting with friends for good food and wine, in addition to travelling, reading and playing the piano. She also speaks German, French and English, and is in the process of perfecting her Luxembourgish.
