Background and experience
Lynsey joined the Group’s risk and compliance function in 2011, initially accepting the role of Senior Compliance Analyst. Operating from our offices in Jersey, Lynsey was promoted to Manager, then Senior Manager, then Associate Director of Compliance and AML, before being appointed as Compliance Director.
With a career that has spanned a period of constant regulatory change, Lynsey has extensive experience of working within a continuously evolving control environment. Before her time with the Group, Lynsey held regulatory positions across a number of different sectors within the financial services industry including fund services, trusts and investments.
Prior to accepting her position with the Group, Lynsey was an Assistant Manager at Hawksford International in Jersey. There, she was responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and operation of a compliance and AML framework.
Qualifications
- ICA Diploma in Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention.
- Master’s degree in Business and Management from the University of Aberdeen.
- Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Aberdeen.
Outside of the office
In her free time, Lynsey enjoys spending time with her family and, when she can, likes to take the opportunity to travel and explore new parts of the world.
