Background and experience
Before joining the Group, Lynsey was a Business Unit Financial Controller at Serco Group Plc. There she was responsible for the effectiveness of the financial control environment across the Business Unit.
Prior to this, Lynsey gained significant experience in listed funds and regulatory reporting at EY in Bermuda. During her time there, she focused primarily on listed companies on the London Stock Exchange, reporting under IFRS with net assets in excess of $1bn. She was also responsible for a portfolio of captive insurance companies that reported under US GAAP, including compliance with SOX reporting and IFRS.
Qualifications
- Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (chartered accountant).
- Certificate of Higher Education in Modern History and Politics.
Outside of the office
For the most part, Lynsey enjoys spending spare time with her daughter. However, when she can find the time, she also enjoys reading a good book!
