Background and experience
Simon joined the Group in June 2021 and has over 20 years’ experience from different industries including media and retail.
He previously held the position of Strategic Programmes Director at Arcadia Group where he developed a supplier partnership model and successfully leveraged assets to drive innovation and save 30% costs during COVID-19. An accomplished project, portfolio and programme leader, Simon brings extensive experience of technology transformation.
He spent the first part of his career in a range of senior roles with Bupa UK and Specsavers before joining Channel 4. As Programme Director, Simon was responsible for managing a large 150+ team and spearheaded an end-to-end delivery of a new advertising sales management system.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems from Leeds University
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Simon spends time with his children going on adventures, whether to a zoo, farm, or museum. He also has an energetic and mischievous one-year old Labrador retriever to keep him busy. Simon enjoys reading, countryside walks, travel, and history.
